Tutorials for working with Braille

On this page, different possibilities for working with Braille notes independently are shown.

Blind and sighted persons may convert their notes (in MusicXML or CapX format) into Braille by using the MakeBraille server and make their own Braille notes visible as inkprint (BrailleVis) or audible as MIDI (BraillePlayer).

MakeBraille

BrailleVis

This tutorial shows how the BrailleVis server of DZB Leipzig works. By using this server, Braille notes may be converted into standard notation fully automatically and may be displayed as PDF to make them accessible for sighted people as well. (read more)
